Even as a small child I found photography fascinating.

From small child to teenager I began acquiring more knowledge about different aspects of photography and began to experiment using my Dad's camera's.

From teenager to adult - at least I think that's what they call us now ! - I continue to experiment and try to find different ways of photographing the wonderful world in which we live.

Some years ago, before digital slr cameras were born, I studied photography at evening classes. Time really does fly when you are having fun and as I was enjoying it so much I continued for about 5/6 years, attaining several City & Guilds Certificates in Photography including a Distinction in Portraiture, Still Life/Black & White Photography all of which I was very proud of and still am of course.

Many a night was spent developing and printing my own prints both in the darkroom at College and at home. Although I rarely do this now using the same methods, I'm so pleased that I had the opporunity to do this.

Using digital slr cameras however, gives me many more opportunities to try different techniques and different types of photography.

I hope one day to re-visit places that I consider special. East Africa is one of those very special places, it was over 10 years ago that I first visited Africa - it's now in my blood. It would not only be interesting to see how life has changed there 10 years on but also to photograph again not only the abundance of wildlife there, but also the African people who helped us a great deal just by being themselves.

I do hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I enjoyed taking them. Please feel free to browse as much as you wish but most of all, marvel at all the wonderful things nature has to offer. I would like to think my images do justice to these.

My website will be updated on a regular basis,

I hope you continue to visit.
