As a freelance photographer, I specialise in Portraits/Weddings/Celebratory Functions covering Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire areas although I will be more than happy to travel to other parts of the UK and overseas.
WEDDINGS
Your Wedding Day is such a special day, it is important that you choose the right photographer. My aim is to capture beautiful imaginative images, ones that tell the story of your big day from the very start i.e., bride/bridesmaids/groom preparation, right through to the end. There is no limit on the amount of images taken or the amount of time it takes.
By the time you return from your honeymoon, the images will have been loaded into a password protected gallery on my website for you and your guests to view.
All Weddings will include a pre Wedding shoot prior to the big day. This can be at a location of your choice and will help you relax and get used to having the camera pointed at you. It's really good fun and quite informal.
PORTRAITS
I specialise in informal, fun portrait photography, both indoors and outdoors. Many people don't like the thought of going into a formal studio for a photoshoot. The good news is.....you don't have to! I will be more than happy to come to you! There is no time limit on my portrait sessions. It takes as long as it takes and I will never make you feel rushed. As a general guide, I normally ask people to set aside at least two hours.
You may book a portrait session either in your own home and surroundings or a choice of location if you have a favourite one. Not everyone feels comfortable in the formality of a studio. Rest assured that wherever you choose to have your session, it will be relaxed and fun.
WHAT TO WEAR? Feel free to use a couple of different outfits (I can advise on colours) and also feel free to use your own props.
SHOOTING ON LOCATION - I have lived in the beautiful City of St. Albans for many years. There are so many fabulous locations that lend themselves to photoshoots, we are spoilt for choice. However, if you have a favourite haunt in mind, please do let me know.
Shortly after your portrait/location session you will be able to view your images in a password protected gallery on my website.

PRODUCTS & PRESENTATION
Ok so now you've had the experience of having the camera pointed at you and chosen your very favourite images. What are you going to do with them now? Some will answer "oh I'll just have them on a memory stick/cd" ! Oh dear, what a shame.
What normally happens to these sticks/cd's is that they get shoved away in a drawer somewhere/lost/corrupted or all three. People always mean to get prints but then just don't get around to it. Only in certain circumstances will I present my clients with their fabulous images on a stick only.
Also, from experience I find that very rarely do clients want "just a few prints". So, below are just a few more options...
FRAMED & MOUNTED PRINTS
Every image is best viewed at a certain size and format and I liaise with my clients in this respect. Bigger is not always necessarily better. I will advise on the best crop and format and whether an image will be enhanced by a frame/mount and/or canvas/acrylic blocks/other.
I specialise in high end framed and mounted images at excellent prices. These are available in both single and multi aperature in different formats. There are so many variations and I will be happy to advise you and have sample frames available
BESPOKE ALBUMS
Wedding Albums/parent albums/bridesmaid/guest albums. These are available in many different sizes and finishes.
I will only offer my clients the highest quality albums but at excellent prices. You don't have to get married to be the proud owner of an absolutely gorgeous album.
There are many other albums available i.e., coffee table albums/portrait albums. These are also available in a wide variety of sizes and finishes and I will be happy to show you samples I have available.
ACRYLIC BLOCKS
These are absolutely stunning and becoming extremely popular. They make excellent gifts for birthdays/anniversaries/Christmas or indeed any other special occasion and come in a range of sizes complete with their own presentation box. Various sizes are available from 6 x 4 upwards. - Samples available.
PRINTS ON CANVAS
I did trial several companies before deciding upon the best. Not an easy choice and I am very fussy. However, I now have an absolutely brilliant supplier and not only is their quality second to none but there delivery service is also super fast.
